presented by the Safety & Health Council of the Hudson Valley

Wednesday November 9th, 2-4p.m.

That’s right, you read correctly…. We are inviting OSHA in! Perhaps if you get nothing else from this event, you will walk away knowing that there are many ways to form a relationship with OSHA and the choice is yours. Time and time again when people hear the name “OSHA” they associate negative thoughts and would rather run in the other direction. This event will help to eliminate those negative associations with the organization call OSHA. We will have two speakers to help accomplish this.

First we will have Mike Ballantine from the NY State Department of Labor On-Site Consultation service to inform you of this FREE service offered by the State and how it can help you strive for better performance in your Safety & Health programs.

Our second speaker is John Tomich, the Area Director of Federal OSHA out of the Albany office. If you have not heard Mr. Tomich speak before then you are in for a real treat. He will captivate the audience by demanding not only your attention but your honesty as well. He will insist that every attendee look deep within their respective company’s and gage their commitment to worker safety. Mr. Tomich will share ideas and resources that you can use to better yourselves and the company’s you work for.
